Setup, Install & Configure

The techs here at Trip Enterprises are just like anyone else – we’ll avoid the things we don’t understand.  Build a PC from scratch, or put together a Network … Sure, No Problem!  But, change the front break pads on our car … Get Out’a Town!  And building a PC is more tricky than changing break pads!  We totally understand your reservations about installing new Hardware or Software on your system.

If you need help with hardware, we’ll be more than happy to install Memory, Hard Drives, Video Cards, Optical Drives (CD/DVD/Blu-Ray), Printers or Scanners, TV Tuners, etc.  We’ll also install the Software and Drivers that make them run, test the components, and set up the basic configuration in Windows. Or, it ‘s software you need installed, we’ll can take care of that, too.  In doing so, we’ll ensure that no other “perks” get installed with it.  Many companies, today, are burying additional installations within their own install process.  Things like browsers, toolbars, and even other third party applications.  We’ll hunt them down like the vermin they are, and make sure they don’t see the light of day. We can also help to configure the software, and ensure your system boots up after the installation. If you need advise on what kind of hardware or software to get, we can do some research for you as part of a Consultation, and apply the cost of that Consultation to the Install.  Depending on the hardware or software, we might possibly be able to squeeze it all into the initial price.  A good rule of thumb – figure we can possibly install up to two devices, two applications or the combination of 1 of each in a one hour period.

Single PC Setup

Setting up a home PC with a printer, monitor, etc., can be time consuming if you aren’t sure what you’re doing.  When one makes a living doing this kind of thing, we can cut the time down dramatically. We’ll come to your home and perform the following as part of this service: set up one (1) PC with ..
up to two (2) monitors a single Printer or All-in-One Printer/Scanner device a single USP device, such as an external Hard Drive Connect all this to a UPS Power manager if you have one; Connect your PC to your ISP modem device; Start up your PC, and verify that it will boot into your Windows Operating System; Create up to 3 User Accounts, if needed; Optimize the way Windows uses your RAM/Memory; Install the software for your single printer or All-in-One device; Ensure that all Windows updates have been started; Make any recommendations on ways to improve the performance of the system.

Home / Home Office Network Setup (*)

Setting up a home PC with a printer, monitor, etc., can be time consuming if you aren’t sure what you’re doing.  When one makes a living doing this kind of thing, we can cut the time down dramatically. We’ll come to your home and perform the following as part of this service: set up of up to three (3) PCs with up to two (2) monitors; up to two (2) Printing and/or scanning devices; a single USB device, such as an external Hard Drive, per PC; Connect all this to a UPS Power manager or Power Strip, if you have one; Connect your PC to your ISP modem device; Start up PC’s, and verify that they will boot into your Windows Operating System; Create up to 3 User Accounts, if needed, per PC; Optimize the way Windows manages the RAM/Memory on each PC Install the software for your printing or scanning devices; Ensure that all Windows updates have been started; Make any recommendations on ways to improve the performance of the system.

Small Business Office Network (*)

At Trip Enterprises, we believe in Small Businesses.  We are a small business.  Setting up & maintaining your network is vital, and if it’s done wrong you can place your business and investment at great risk.  It literally can be the difference between success or failure.
In order to ensure that we are able to give you the highest level of support and service, we limit the scope of our involvement to a maximum of 25 employees.

We’ll come to your business, and discuss the following with you as part of this service: How many employees you currently have, and what your future growth projections are; What kind of technology infrastructure to you currently have; What are the budgetary considerations; The available hardware and software options you have access to, for example; Windows Home Server (up to 10 devices, no centralized User Authentication, Centralized Storage & Backup); Windows Server Foundation (up to 15 Users, no additional licensing required, centralized control & storage); Small Business Server (up to 50 Users, licensing purchased in increments of 5, typical Server functionality) We’ll can perform the setup and configuration of the hardware, as well as the software, such as: Cabling; PC, Printer, Device Setup; User Setup; Wireless Integration; Proper Security precautions.
