Billing Rates
Trip Enterprises believes very strongly that we should all honor those who serve this nation and our communities. Our attempt to do that is to give all active duty representatives of the Military, Police, Firefighters & First Responders a 40% discount toward the hourly rates we charge (we’ll need to see proof, though);
- $49 for the first hour, with a minimum of 1/2-hour (30 minutes) charged at $29. The second 1/2-hour will be charged at $20, totaling $49 for the first hour. This allows coverage for all administrative, accounting and back office support required for each ticket(*);
- $25.00 per hour for all work beyond the first hour, billed in 1/4-hour (15 minute) increments;
- $9.00 surcharge for each additional trip to a Customer’s location after the second visit for an on-site ticket; or, when a trip is required to the Customer’s location (a) after they’ve dropped off their equipment at our location, or (b) for tickets initiated through Remote Assistance;
- $9.00 discount for any tickets performed through Remote Assistance, which are billed a minimum of one hour; or, where the Customer drops off and picks up their equipment.
(*) The reason for this is to allow for the possibility that some consultations and diagnostics may take less than 30 minutes. This could also be the case when a ticket is initiated, performed and completed Remotely within that first 30 minutes. Additionally, if the customer decides to move forward with the recommendations made by Trip Enterprises, performed by Trip Enterprises, then the time spent in the consultation or diagnosis will be applied to the total hours for the job, and billing will be applied as defined above.
All Prices listed under Services are approximate costs, based on what the estimated total hours for each respective service will be. The estimated total hours for each respective service is posted in each of the sub-pages listed on Services page. The actual billing will be based upon actual man-hours spent on the job. It’s possible you may pay less, or more, than the prices shown on the Order page. If it appears the time to complete any service might exceed the published estimate, we’ll contact the Customer with a status update, and will only continue if authorized to do so.
Any fee associated with a “Consultation” or “Diagnosis” should be considered a flat fee, so as not to rush the consultation or diagnosis. Plan on one hour. If the Customer chooses to move forward with the recommendation or repair advised by Trip Enterprises, then the standard billing described above will be applied to the total cost of the service, based on the total time spent performing such tasks. No other estimated time published on this website includes any time for a consultation or diagnosis as part of that estimated time. All time estimated times begin when the service is actually started.
